About The Event
This event is being co-hosted with the incredible People & Planet and Glasgow Medical Students LGBTQIA+ Society.
Join us for a digital workshop to find out why the climate crisis is a LGBTQIA+ issue, what this means for a history of radical queer organising, and what we do about it now.
We will look at People & Planet's Fossil Free Careers campaign as a clear way students can take solidarity with communities on the frontline of the climate crisis, and the Fossil Free Pride campaign as a way non-students can do the same.
This workshop will include participatory elements, so please join from a laptop or tablet if possible and be ready to contribute.
This event is open to any LGBTQIA+ people and allies interested in climate justice and fighting for a liberated future.
While this event is free to all, donations to support important climate organising are encouraged: https://peopleandplanet.org/donate
